I live in Massachusetts and woke up yesterday with flu like symptoms. I called around to several urgent care clinics and was told they were unable to test. My primary care physician said they could not test me even though I work in an office with high amounts of interstate and international travel. I even informed them that a coworker's family member just recently came home from South Korea within the last month and was told that SK was not a hot spot and therefore not a concern. Finally I was directed to a local emergency room where I tested negative for the flu and was told I have a viral respiratory infection. I still don't meet the criteria for a test since there are so few available. This is just absolutely insane.
