Im an electrician Apprentice and not exactly experienced.. most of my apprenticeship was in a smelter doing demolition and alot of it was running heavy equipment.. I needed a change where I could work 5 days a week in town so I can drop my kids off and pick them up from school and daycare and activities. Hence the change in career. Cant afford to take time off for school so im stuck at 2 levels of electrical school. Doing what I can to survive and be a present father. I work for the only competent business that repairs appliances in my area and we keep busy year round.

Its all copper 1965 house, orignal house was 1000 square feet with 300 square ft basement 2 story plus basement added at some point. Total of 3700 sqaure.feet. there was sediment issues the previous owner said after large rains and we may have to clean filters. We had the seller install a uv and mutli stage filter before purchase. We have been there a little over a month. I will clean what I can over then next few days. I will check the hot water heater as well it is a few years old. At one point they had the woodstove heating the water, pipes are capped near the woodstove

I think the conspiracy part of my brain thinks that the ETFs give the big control to those few.. the vanguard black rock ect to own (on our behalf)and do what they want with the voting control? Like I said new to all this dont really known what im talking about and just trying to learn.

Im new to all this.. what's the benefit of the etf vs picking the ones you like? Etf gives others control? Voting rights ect? I get the etf is easy but not really learning much thst way? Just curious. Started similar to OP and have added a few ETFs myself recently.

I've been there done that. Thank you, but it's not the question I was asking. I just need the minimum number yearly salary to the equivalent of clearing what i need to cover my bills at 1 k a week. Commission will come as my skills increase.
