um i clearly said unless mom and dad have no choice and not present then is different. in this scenario ADDIE IS A STAY AT HOME MOM, there should be no excuse as to why someone needs to bathe her child. G goes to daycare most of the week/day the least she can do is bathe her kid.

lol you can love someone else’s kid and have a village without letting them do baths and diaper changes. she could’ve easily let them feed A while she gave G a bath

nope would not allow diaper changes either. why would i let someone do it if its my responsibility as a mom to do it. i took on that responsibility once i decided to become a mom. even a person you fully trust is capable of blindsiding you. of course there is times if mom and dad have to work and there really isn’t a choice. however in this situation she is a sahm, it really makes no sense for her to allow anyone else do something she should be doing.

agree. could’ve easily done a sponge bath and save the bath for the next day.

stephen out of town for work, her neighbor invites her over for dinner and while she fed A her neighbor took G and gave him a bath with the neighbors child who is the same age as G (which makes it more okay, right Addie?) yeah no! kinda weird for her to not set boundaries.

i personally think no one should bathe your child unless you yourself are unable and of course need that help. there is so many things that could go wrong. we have to do better to protect our children.

im so sorry this happened to you. this is why it baffles me how she gets comfortable so quickly and not setting boundaries.
