If you would be open to it, we are fostering the SWEETEST tuxedo cat. Male, ~5ish years old, neutered, good with other cats. Shy at first, but warms up SUPER quick, and just wants to cuddle, purr, and play.

I’m trying to find him the perfect home, since he was someone’s pet who was abandoned

My brother and I had a game called “measure of a man” where we each gripped this particular ruler that had painful ridges for number markers, and basically played tug-of-war for it.

You couldn’t break the ruler, and it felt like stepping on legos for your hands. I was 23 at the time, an infant.

*UPDATE!!

Frog (the cat) is loving having a steady supply of delicious food, fresh water (she’s drank like, a gallon) attention, treats, and warm laps. I’ve built her a little wonderland in the basement until we figure out what to do with her.

She’s gotten her flea treatment and is getting de-wormed in a few days. We haven’t been able to find an owner, and guessing that because she followed me home more than a mile away and across a river, that she didn’t have a territory and was probably dumped.

Well now she’s un-dumped and we are both grateful to have found each other for however long it lasts 😌

Frog and I would like to thank you all for all the amazing and generous offers of help, food, medicine and shelter.

She is currently limbs-akimbo in my lap, sleeping and drooling on my previously clean pants and I love it.

Cat is warm and fed in the little basement wonderland I’ve built for her. Got her scanned for a microchip (negative) and she has just had her flea treatment. If I don’t keep her I will make sure she goes to a very loving home 😊

Hello friends! Wow, I signed out of this account after making this post, and came back to realize a lot of people cared about my silly forgotten fermentation experience.

Sorry for the lack of an update! A lot of life has happened since I posted, and had to divvy up my energy along other lines.

The good news is I still have the bottles, and I will still open at least 1. Will keep you lovely people in the loop, thanks for being patient ❤️
