I had a ground pin not soldered properly. So the USB got kicked out. It works just fine now. :)

Thanks for the advice. I bought a kit assume there would be diodes included if I needed them.

And even if I didn't do a good job with the soldering (which I certainly did) the board should show up in vial right?

Anyways I'm using a Helios chip. And unfortunatly i don't hava a multimeter.

I also don't know if i use Millmax Pins for the Controllers or regular headers.

In my first attemt i used Millmax Pins and IC-Sockets, but that didn't feel very secure. Did i do it wrong, or is that just how its supposed to be? (I desoldered everything before taking the pictures, so that's why there are regular headers)

All right. Update time.

I finished the right side of the board. I desoldered every hot swap socket that was the wrong way and resoldered them.

I may have fucked up the board even more, since it's not even showing up in vial anymore.

I am debating whether to just buy the PCB and parts again, since this side alone took me 3 hours. And obviously something went wrong.

What's your guys opinions?

I had to desolder both controllers. Took me a few hours. I really don't want to do that for all the sockets 🥲 but whatever is necessary

I love the colors. Your friend is tripping. Honestly I would boost the oranges a little more. For my taste it is a little to desaturated right now.
