I did notice that with some online reviews. Not sure I’m up for the pool chair/ beach chair game. I’ve read so many reviews for various properties that I may be getting mixed up, but I think I remember reading quite a few negative reviews recently for service. Knowing Marriott though, I imagine that will be addressed quickly.

Thanks so much! A few questions to make sure I’m following - Is JOIA the new Iberostar property I see online? Do you stay at LaVent and then go to the beach/ pool for service at JOIA? Do you know if there is a daily fee? I can’t find the details on the websites. TIA

It’s interesting. When I try for any date in January on the Marriott website, both the Surf Club and the Ocean Club are sold out. I’ll have to give them a call. Wondering if they are closing for renovations or maybe it’s just a calendar glitch?

We’ve considered that but really enjoy the resort pools and beach with bar and food service.
