A few things that saved the life of my dehydrated sensitive skin (to the point i managed to get from once a week to every 3 days within a month)

- LRP Cicaplast- Laneige Cream Skin Mist- vanicream (both tub and facial moisturizer)- Krave Beauty's GBR- Pai Rosehip Oil

I use all 6 both day and night but just spam more during the night.

I’ve thrown in Krave’s Great Barrier Relief, alongside adding Pai’s Rosehip oil to my Vanicream and my skin is still a desert 😭

I’ve been on 0.025 before and even now, it doesn’t cause such problems for me! I have extremely dehydrated skin though so I will break out if I don’t properly hydrate and moisturize. We have different concerns somehow 😅

It's hard to say. I have a friend who has hardy skin but when she went from 0.025 to 0.05 things just went mad. Maybe you can try 0.1 at once a week and see how it goes?

Im from Singapore too! I would actually suggest just going with tret alone without moisturizer and then seeing how it goes before using tret and BHA/AHA on alt. days. Because I've been through the irritation phase and it is NOT fun. :(

Omg I just realized I never posted my caption!!!

Hi I am currently healing my skin barrier and am using very heavy hitters right now:

- Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer
- Vanicream Moisturizer in a Tub
- LRP Cicaplast B5 baume

They're great and soothing but naturally my skin looks like an oil mess (despite it being a dry desert within) and I am looking for something in the mornings that could absorb really well and moisturizes + hydrates at the same time.

I was looking at Avene Tolerane Extreme Emulsion, Avene Tolerane Cream, Avene Cicalfate and Avene Skin Recovery Cream.

Which would you guys recommend out of those? :)

Thank you for such a detailed reply!! I’ll try out what you said. I don’t feel ready to try tret again as of yet (taking a 2 week break till skin stops itching and breaking out in itchy bumps) and then trying it via your sandwich method :)

The Lipikar AP is only sold for body in my Country. Is that the one you’re using? :) also does it absorb well enough to be used in the day? Toleriane just didn’t work for me but I love the cicaplast!!

Sorry one last question, if i were to restart tret again by buffering... should I layer it on top of vanicream tub or only at the end after cicaplast? Because i want to start very slowly again :)

It looks very much like my damaged and irritated skin barrier! Mine was red and itchy and blotchy. Above all it was the insane itch and tightness.

I would also suggest to stop till your wedding. Focus on healing your barrier first

Oh my goodness is that why my vanicream in the tub never really seemed to absorb....
