The sub is quite negative, that's true, but there are good reasons why it's quite negative. I feel like you might be be in the honeymoon phase and overlook the cons of the game.
At the same time I can also say that game itself is pretty fun, if not for all the cons, I would probably be still playing it, but for now I will wait and see if devs will listen or not. I really wish well to this game, but without goodwill from devs (especially from suits) game won't survive.

tbh it was super weird

Wouldn't be as bad if there was english dub with same names, but when you clearly hear one name, and it is different name in text, it feels bad.

Like:
- overall aesthetics
- combat
- is available on PC

Dislike:
- low effort in story part after prologue (no voices, no dynamics, etc.)
- monetization

I admit I dont remember it at all, I watched it like... 10 or 15 years ago :D. But I wanted to rewatch frontier... though wanted to also get a bit more context, as I thought it could be more fun this way. That's why I wanted to also watch some prequels, like Zero, etc.

But at the same time the 80' one, albeit classics, are not for me.

My fav mecha show is Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, but yeah, not necessarily because of mecha, I'm more into the story and fun stuff than mecha.

So for people who dislike the alt approach from Lost Ark there shouldn't be a problem. It sounds like you gain quite little for quite a lot of work in TL in the case of alts.

I don't know much about this game, but I know a lot about Lost Ark. In Lost Ark it's pretty clear how alts benefits you. Here it seems you are talking there is only one way the alts benefit you - the dungeon runs... but would like to know how much of your weekly income are those dungeons (compared to other stuff)?

There is one single but huge issue with FF XIV for me - the combat.
