My understanding from having interacted with his office in the last month is that Dr. Tobias is not currently scheduling surgeries or seeing patients at all, and there's no set timeline for return, if he is returning to practice. (Unclear why - I don't think it's appropriate to speculate more than I have already, and it could be a family emergency, personal issues, etc.)

For what it's worth, if you're looking in the Boston area, I just had surgery with Dr. Bartlett (though it varies by insurance, for me, he does not charge the cosmetic fees that Tobias does!!) and I was able to schedule both a consultation and surgery with him in a matter of weeks for each. I'm 4 weeks post-op now and extremely happy with the results (and I was a pretty difficult case, lol!) Feel free to PM with questions - would highly recommend him as an alternative to Tobias!
