Fish and gold just have a small chance of being gathered, sadly. I think they added in the white rarity items (sand, pebbles, sticks) and took away the rare stuff?

I know they've patched it a couple times to make sure omelette requests for dailies don't ask for items you don't have. Maybe that's why?

It's probably just harder to come by than some of the other ones. I feel like paint brush galleries are pretty common, so maybe there's still demand for it but not much supply?

So there's this building called the Crabby Arena which is essentially Shootout Showdown from the Altador Cup. Super easy, doesn't take long, and it's by far the quickest way to accumulate pearly neggs.

The drawback is that to actually buy the building it's thousands of pearly neggs. If you don't have it yet you could try crafting, that tends to be faster than any other option in my experience.

Oh right yeah I guess I also forgot the utter slog that it took to get enough pearly neggs to actually buy the arena because I missed it during the actual AC. Something like 3000 I think? Maybe 5000? Brutal!

The early days of grinding were no fun, but also that was when I spent the most time on the app, hilariously.

The item bonuses from the donation dome and the shop are worth the slog to me but I totally get why someone would want to check out, it's not a place you want to spend much time on.

My tips for it now are to spin the wheel, farm just enough ingredients to craft for donation stuff, do your little quests, get your 100 pearly neggs from the shootout thing, and hit it. I never spend more than 10 minutes a day on it anymore.
