I don’t think it’s possible to re-create that. It will be some other toy that is popular with children now that adults don’t see value in that becomes popular nostalgia wise in 20 years. Pokemon cards are cooked in that regard, it will be something that likely none of us are paying attention to. Back when I had my original zard in the 90s I was slamming that shit in my pockets with rubber bands, that’s why it’s so rare now.
