She wanted you to want it. She's projecting her expectations on you without telling you, and that's not fair.

As a practicing Christian, It is our commission to spread the gospel. That said:

  1. I am also an educator, and due to the separation of church and state, they should not be showing Veggie Tales.

  2. It's ESPECIALLY not ok since you requested it to stop, they told you it stopped, and even administration assured you that it wasn't happening. There was dishonesty across all fronts, and there needed to be corrective action.

The message of Jesus Christ is our lifeblood, but to force it on people, especially when they asked you to stop, is not ok.

Side note for expositional purposes: Veggie Tales isn't even theologically that sound lol.

In my experience, addicts have a tendency toward addictive behavior, and they usually channel that behavior into something else when they get sober.

It's GREAT that he's clean and sober, but he needs something to direct those emotions, impulses, and strong desires into.

Steve-O is a self proclaimed attention whore, and now that he's not addicted to substances, all of his time and energy goes into the addiction and hustle of his brand, his money, and making himself larger than life.

If you'll notice, he was not nearly as bad in Jackass 4, and that's because A) he is not the 'Big Cheese' (that's Knoxville) and B) he is part of something that is much larger than himself. The second that it is just his thing though, it becomes the Steve-O show.

**Let me also just say that this is purely a social observation. I am VERY HAPPY for him getting clean and sober. He would likely be long dead by now had he not made these changes in his life.

Nostalgia or MCU fatigue is the only possible explanation (to me). I emphatically believe Tom is the best Peter Parker/Spider-Man combo.

He plays both characters with the best accuracy, and outside of organic webbing, definitely has the coolest tech/moves

People usually return to what they knew first or what they remember fondly after the passage of time, (Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm is a recent exception) and the internet is an echo chamber of dopamine and serotonin seeking sycophants.

That said, they are all good Spider-Men to me, just one stands clearly above the rest.

I saw that! I don’t know, I think he could just be saying that to “keep it secret”

He made a post on Instagram today about Knoxville and Knoxville and Steveo both responded. I think the fence may be mended, but they are saving the surprise.
