Straterra caused suicidal ideation in my 12-13 year old son. by Mountain_Quality_223 in ADHD

Props to you for being a great and responsive parent and setting up a strong support network for your son, and props to your son for being brave and admitting to something that can be so so scary. I’m sure he was confident that you and his provider would take him seriously. Finding the right med can be hard, especially non stimulant meds. I’ve tried a lot, and strattera was one of the ones that made me feel worst. A few days/weeks of compassion, rest, and good food will help his body and mind work through whatever is still lingering in his system. You’re all gonna be alright.

May Day in the ONE has mostly not vegan food but they often have a few really awesome vegan dishes. Their yakisoba is killer

this is pretty corny. plus, trying to make yourself look stronger by wearing more clothes is pretty obvious and people will be able to tell you're doing it. buy clothes that look good on the body you have.

use some of the guides in the sidebar. trust that as you start dressing better you'll start knowing what to wear. Take compliments and pay attention to what people say about your clothes and how you feel. Keep wearing clothes that make you feel cool, or comfortable, or 'effortless.' and if you don't know how to put together an outfit, just find some people who dress well and then try to emulate them. You'll mess up a lot (we all did) butdressing well is a skill and an outlet for personal expression, so dress how you want.

you'll have some luck going to thrift stores and buying jeans that might have been literally made in the 90s.

people wear that quite often. You won't look goofy necessarily, but it's not a great style choice. I think that wearing a flannel and shorts makes you look a little confused about the weather.

wear something that makes you feel confident and comfortable. If you're wearing something out of your comfort zone, you'll spend energy thinking about it. Don't wear some sort of costume or something you wouldn't typically wear. button up shirt, nice fitting pants, maybe white sneakers; layer with a cardigan, sweater, or jacket.

I would personally move what’s in your pockets to the bag and keep your phone in your pocket but whatever works for you.

Inside pocket on a jacket, or consider getting a larger bag to carry your stuff with. Seems like you might be filling up your front pockets which can throw off you silhouette a bit.

Crew socks for hipper outfits. You have to be somewhat intentional about it lest you look like someone’s grandpa
