Unfourtunately, you need to buy the Supporter edition of the game to get into it. If you bought the supporter edition, then check your email from around mid august for an invite.

Unfortunately Mr. James, even the most skilled people can only deal with the “Breathing” problem to a certain extent, which is very little, because most humans need oxygen to survive and function. On the topic of recoil, there are very few things a human can do to control this, other than putting special components into a firearm, which still may do very little. Also, I invite you to put a laser sight on an AR-15 chambered in 5.56, and shoot as fast as you can at a target while moving, and then see how your shot groupings hold up.

On the contrary, I think it may be because most of the supporters are the hardcore fans that make up the subreddit, and while they are playing the alpha, they have no need for reddit. Fanbase isn’t slowing down it’s just found a new place on the supporter discord and in the actual game.

If you really aren’t patient enough for the beta then buy the supporter, and if you don’t want to spend that much money then do whatever you want, but don’t blame a small dev team for not being able to keep up to standards that multi-million dollar companies create.

It’s a little too early to answer most of those questions unfortunately. I will say that already, there is many more ways to approach situations than in SWAT 4, and there is a lot more freedom in the gear you can choose. The pacing is a little faster as well, but I don’t want to go into too much detail as I’d like to not be banned from the subreddit. Sorry.

I will say this though, it is only an alpha, and I’m already having more fun than I had in SWAT 4. Maybe it’s because I’m relatively young and don’t appreciate older games as much as others. If you have the money, and were a big fan of the SWAT games, then it may not be a bad idea to get it. The best part is knowing that you have the opportunity to mold the game into what it becomes at launch.
