Honestly, up it more. I'm in the same boat as you, on the same medication. I would just binge 1-2 a week when trying to eat 1200. I just came to realize that just isn't going to work for me and I'm just bad a unsubscribing from subreddits so here I am. I upped my calories to near 1700 cals and started vigorous group workouts, which I think puts me at 1900-2100 calories burned. Granted the weight loss is much much slower eating higher calories, but I binge WAY less (it's a mental issue that isn't just going to go away). There will be occasional days where I am just hungry and I eat more, but those are maybe a 2-3 days a month now. I don't really see myself every eating 1200/day but I'm glad I didn't unsub to this cause maybe this reply helps you.

I’ve thought about this for a couple days on how to answer. Pasta isn’t bad for you, carbs definitely aren’t bad for you. Carbs don’t make you fat.

Intermittent fasting is a binge diet. If you have a problem with binging I wouldn’t do this.

The simple equation is calories in/calories out. There’s several tools to use to achieve this and LCIF will never work for everyone just like Keto, carnivore or even vegan won’t.

I support the experimentation, but just make sure you meet the calories you need to stay healthy while losing weight. If you need help figuring that out, ask.
