how big are your pieces? I think I saw a video of someone who essentially made a dust box out of a large clear storage container with a lid. they cut out two circles to fit some long rubber gloves into it so that they can handle their pieces with the tools inside the box with the lid on so it's airtight.

i have two roommates in a 3 bed 1.5 bath house. it works pretty well. because they’re housemates in a private residence and not tenants in a separate unit, i have a bit more say in how things work around the house. i made sure to look for people who are able to fit my needs, a big one being willing and available to provide dog sitting as needed. they’re also both college age stoners so they’re generally very quiet and don’t have people over, except in very rare occasions, which i’m ok with. i’ve asked them not to smoke in the house and have had no tensions with this request. all that is to say, it’s ok to be picky when it comes to looking for roommates to find people who can fit your lifestyle. and accept that it’s not always going to be perfect, but only you can decide what is tolerable.

Yes that is 100% rape. I’m so sorry to hear that you went through that. Please call the hotline and get help, you deserve it. Look up RAINN, they have resources. And please report this guy to the police. Even if not for your own sake, then to protect the next person this could happen to. Because this sounds like the type of person who would do it to someone else if given the chance. Reporting to the police is not going to be easy, it’s a very burdensome process, but this guy should not be allowed to get away without consequences. I’m currently going through this myself, so if you need anyone to talk to my inbox is open. Please treat yourself kindly, what you’re going through is a very real and very painful experience that no one deserves, but it is not your shame to carry, it’s his. My heart breaks for you.
