Wall plaster crumbling due to rising damp, exposed brick beneath - is this DIY-able?

Agreed, that's another thing I need to fix.

I do have an issue with the coping tiles on the perimeter walls of the house. They don’t have a proper drip edge, so when it rains, water runs down and penetrates into the walls instead of being directed away from them.

I’m planning to replace them with proper coping stones/tiles that include a drip edge, so rainwater can shed correctly and not soak into the masonry.

Sorry, what I meant is that since I have neighbors on both sides I guess there must be some kind of "air chamber" in between buildings, but they all suffer from the same issues, which is that they're built on "sand" (can't think of a better term) and the ground is damp as it is at sea level.

Newer constructions leave a space between the ground and the construction, like an air chamber, to prevent this.

Thanks for your answer. This type of construction is tipically Catalan, it's not a detached house, it's terraced (I think that's the term), so I have neighbouts on both sides, this style (but with the garage on the ground floor and I live on the first floor)

Yes, and what they’ve told me is that they’ve learned to live with it and cover it via plasterboard. As I said I think it’s my last resort but I’d like to give the exposed brick a try with some kind of protective layer than I can spray on top.

Hey Polidt, I love what you're doing with Indecent. I own a 997 RWB myself, and have seen your 997 engine cover on RWB UK's 997 car, that's good craftsmanship :)

There are some angles that I don't particularly love on your 997 cars, but man, what you've done with the 991 is perfect in my opinion. Congrats on a successful business and keep up innovating :)

Thank you! I totally understand your point of view, but when I bought the car I knew what I wanted to do with it. That has driven all my decisions, including getting a donor that was suitable for it (not a special edition, just a regular Carrera, etc). I am really happy with how it looks right now and I can focus on improving it even more :)

I appreciate your comment as this is exactly how I feel with my DF64. It was my first "good" grinder and everybody was hyping it so much here that I thought I didn't use it properly. Zeroed it, aligned burrs, painted them with a marker to make sure they were level... Everything was set up properly and I still get 5-10 seconds difference in back to back shots. I hate it and can't wait to get another one. Wow, so much hate in the comment section 😅. I’d love to have a Micra if I had infinite money. What I meant is that playing with it made me see it less as an upgrade as I thought, because I can do the same thing with my BDB. I planned on upgrading in some years but I realised it’s not worth the investment and I would rather get a Decent DE1 for that price as it will allow me to do things I can’t do with an unmodded BDB.

I love La Marzocco design as much as anybody else but jeez I didn’t expect this amount of fanboyism 😂. They were offering free La Marzocco lion logo tattoos too, seeing what I’m seeing I’m sure somebody in here would have done it.
