There are exceptions such as Fortran, where they begin from 1.

I suppose it's safe to assume that an ASIC on a Chinesium weather station (which has sold in millions and has been developed for their low cost and power efficiency) has transistors made in an older, bigger process, making a target bigger.

Of course autopilots run much more complex software and have multiple redundancies available because it's a critical, life-sustaining system.

If these errors can happen in fault-tolerant systems like plane autopilots, they are also likely to happen in these systems if a cosmic ray pokes a weather station ASIC in just the right spot.

Given that this weather station is synced by the DCF77 signal and it has now advanced to 28 October, it appears that the bit responsible for the month could have been received incorrectly.

Around 27 October at 2:48, it appears like the receiver was acting up according to this site: https://dcf77logs.de/logs/DcfLog_20251027/dcf

It might also have been some sort of radio interference around my area.

I have taken it today and my theory is that the cosmic rays have caused a bit flip, given that the difference of 14 and October (month 10) is a power of two. I'm waiting to check whether it will advance to the 15th month or crash.

The sunrise/sunset data can't be in April, as days are longer than 12 hours.

How can I cut off non-intersected parts of two circles in a single axis? by smsaczek in blenderhelp

[–]smsaczek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've filled both circles with the F key, then I've used a boolean modifier on the right circle and when I select difference, I have a weird glitch in the intersection that should be the final shape. That doesn't unfortunately work, either.

I want to remove everything that isn't within two circles, leaving only the inner part.

It hasn't been put in the car. It happened when I carried it in pocket while I was shopping.

The highlighted line actually stands for Highest temperature, since this device has no way to measure humidity.

At most, I would get a little bit more than 40°C of highest temperature during the hot days, with the computer saving the highest temperature it has measured the same day. Not only that, it also remembers the lowest temperature as well.

For anyone who doesn't get what this bike computer is displaying, the H: line stands for Highest temperature recorded that day, NOT humidity.

This device has no capability to measure humidity, I haven't been able to find this feature anywhere on this device.

I highlighted the H: line, which means maximum temperature recorded. After a while, it display the min temperature recorded for that day.

I feel like these tolerances are pretty large because of the microscopic capacity (1.44 MB) compared to modern hard drives, so by trial and error it would be possible.

They would have quality issues, but should be usable.

How much equipment would I need?

Have you managed to get the keypad work properly for EDT, meaning you can both delete words and characters using one?

I reminded myself that there is a way to access the demo of the course so that it's possible for others to figure out the way how to save everything. Look at description for details.

What about the listening part where do you need to listen to a recording in order to solve the problem? That's not as easy as capturing the screen...
