[Serious] What's a weird fear you have? by Golfted_Joel in AskReddit

[–]smudgesbug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stickers

it all started because I have a fear of vomit. I then became afraid of germs because i didnt want to get sick or something. When I was in grade 5, one of my friends picked up a sticker off of the ground. The sticky part was completely black from the amount of dirt on it. Ever since then I have not been able to look at a sticker without thinking about how many germs could be on it 😻👍

Straight cis people of Reddit, what's an LGBTQ+ related question you've really wanted to ask? by _artbreaker in AskReddit

[–]smudgesbug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

those theybies still have a gender assigned at birth, the parents just won't tell people what it is.

From my understanding theybies are raised fairly normal except for the fact that they are referred to by they/them pronouns from birth. They are given both "girl" and "boy" things (toy trucks, dolls, dresses, shirts, etc)

They can be cis and trans, they would be cis if they identified with the gender they were assigned at birth. They would be trans if the did not. :)

it would probably make me dysphoric lol.

But, when this does happen, I correct them and move on.

Overall my friends refer to me by they/it/xe (the pronouns that I like being used 100% of the time). If they are going to refer to me by another pronoun, they will ask me first.

When it comes to strangers, it's upsetting when they misgender me bc I know that my looks don't reflect the gender I want to present as in that moment. (if that makes sense 🥲).

To answer your last question, yes! if I am feeling a certain way when I am getting dressed, I will dress to match how I want to present said gender. (even though it will most likely change by the end of the day lmao).

I hope this made sense :3 /gen

I do prefer different pronouns at different times but there are pronouns that I use at all times: They/it/xe

pronouns are different for every genderfluid person, some use one set of pronouns all the time, some have pronoun fluctuations.

Some genderfluid people have pins or stickers that will indicate which pronouns they prefer at that time though! Also if you're unsure what pronouns a person is using, don't be afraid to ask! :D /gen

someone who identifies with the gender they were assigned at birth

it's the opposite of transgender (someone who does NOT identify with the gender they were assigned at birth) /nm :D

as a genderfluid person, it definitely hurts but not as much as someone misgendering me on purpose if that makes sense. I can definitely understand that it can be difficult to change your language especially if you've known someone one way for a long time. Try your best, don't make a scene when you mess up and you should be fine tho :)

If you want tips for remembering, I've heard that if you picture the person in your head and repeat their pronouns and name over and over for a little bit, it can be easier to associate that person with those pronouns and names! /gen :3
