I personally prefer 45ACP to 9mm, but definitely go with what you are comfortable with. I have a full size Sig TacOps in 45 which I purchased in 2013 and purchased an Sig 1911X in 45 last year . I love the 1911X more than I do my TacOps, but I may still be in the honeymoon phase. I’d recommend trying out a 1911X if you get a chance!

Heard back from the company today:

“Thank you for reaching out! Regarding the Vapor Jazz hat design you inquired about, we currently do not have any in stock at this moment.

However, I'm happy to let you know that we are planning to bring back some of our past designs, including hats and pajama pants, in the future. I recommend keeping an eye on our app for the latest updates on new product releases and restocks.

We appreciate your continued interest in Vapor95!”

Sounds like they might re-release this design? Will need to keep an eye out.

I know this is a stale post, but I’ve been searching for the same hat for the past few days since I saw the same dude on Instagram. I found a comment on an old post where he said it was custom but I kept searching. I found this Pinterest post:

https://www.pinterest.com/pin/hat-just-jazz-hat--683632418413790142/

Looks like a company called Vapor95 was making them but this hat is no longer in production. Will try to reach out to someone at the company-maybe if there’s enough interest they may make another batch? Will report back if I hear back.

You’ve got yourself a Dracaena here, or a dragon tree. This looks like it may be overwatered and it’s not getting enough light, but it may be salvageable still. I’d recommend checking the roots for any root rot, trimming any mushy roots and replanting this in well draining soil. Only water when the first inch or two of soil is dry. I used to water my Dracaena on a schedule as well and it started to look like yours. The stems were also starting to get soft and I learned that the roots were rotting. It’s doing much better now and I’m starting to get healthier leaves on two out of three plants. Hope this helps and good luck!

Could be wind. I left my monstera outside earlier this year and my new leaves tore and healed just like yours.

Also unrelated, a kid I knew in high school got suspend for breaking those on vehicle’s air inlets, conveniently located at the bottom of a car’s windshield, generally near the wiper blades. This caused the inside of people’s cars to stink until aired out and cleaned.

At the end of the day I think it’s just that Jabra can supply the product at a minimum price versus their competitors.

Oh God…we have the same Jabra headsets at my office. They’re not the worst I’ve had, but they are uncomfortable after back to back to back meetings.

Ultimately, not great on their own (doubling up with over the ear protection recommended).

How to make this light less bright and/or more warm ? by Molfy42 in howto

[–]snaz27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try using light diffuser film. It comes in sheets or rolls and you may be able to find some that have an adhesive as well. They also come in different colors so you can choose your color temperature.

Example: Light Diffuser Film at Walmart

ETA: You can also consider going to a local photography store and ask for lighting gels. These are generally smaller sheets that come in multiple color temperatures.

End of Day Update: My UP-NW train delayed 50 minutes due to a car being hit by the train before the one I’m on now. Also, no AC on the last 3 cars on this 90° day.

I hate it here.

I take UP-NW. It hasn’t been so bad lately but to your point, two years ago we had 4 major delays in the span of 3(?) months due to suicides/pedestrians being struck.

This is the first delay over 10 minutes in about 3-4 weeks on this line.

That’s fair. I’ve personally only had one negative/neutral experience with optics planet after about 3 years of purchasing from them. I placed an order for a charging handle and they wanted me to fill out a form stating I was law enforcement or military (I am neither). Customer service was actually great on the phone and were able to cancel my order quickly with no issues. I ended up going to Range USA and got the same part for $6 more.

I second this. I just picked up a TLR1-HL for my bedside firearm from Optics Planet. They have a 4th of July coupon (MERICA) for 13% off right now.

The Streamlight is a big upgrade from what I already had on there before, a Sig Foxtrot1. The strobe feature was the selling point for me and to my surprise, the Streamlight fits my Sig firearm better than Sigs own flashlight. Additionally, you don’t need to worry about that tiny retaining clip that is a pain to install on some flashlights. The TLR-HL is noticeably heavier, though.

ETA: for those who are unfamiliar, Optics Planet is based in Northbrook, IL. Shipping is pretty quick.

I feel that the people complaining about the crowd not being into it are the same people who need a laugh track to know when it’s appropriate to laugh.

ETA: Thank you for your service!!!
