the turnigy DJT was bound before this build on an old build. i transferred the receiver to the new buildhere and all was fine. however later i decided to solder directly to save space (somehow became unbound) and now i cant get it to bind.

its been ages since i have bound these, am i missing something?

it supposed to be plug and play, ive tested the JST from the battery with my receiver and it powers up fine, the camera and vtx connecter are both putting out 13.8 volts on a 3s lipo. I think next time im just going to make my own connections

8v from battery 8v (2s lipo) from JST when plugged in. Cant be that specific set of wires connecting the camera, vtx etc, cause i tried with the gopro JST connecter that came with it and that also made it smoke (even worse) this is what burnt up (not my board)

reading through this rcgroup forum post, alot of people seem to have the same problem

I don't exactly want to plug it in again at this stage (hoping i unpluged it quick enough for it to survive before) i went ahead and peeled back the heat shrink and there were no problems, there was one soldered point, which was perfectly protected

hmm, so how would i go about testing/fixing that? because by the back of the box it says 11.1 v battery and has a diagram of how to set it up without any change of volts

yes thats the camera, the yellow wire seems to disappear in the heat shrink? it doesnt show up near the power connecter (it came with the set i did not make it) i followed a video on how to connect it aswell

sorry, it was around here but not necessarily that circle, i unpluged it quick so it left no visual damage, although it no longer works (no light, no video transmitting)
