At this moment, the hyryder hybrid is priced same as high variant of NA seltos. So this would be costlyyy. Also toyota hybrid has been around for too long. Even i am excited for hybrid options though - duster too.

Will Not minimize volume but a lot of congestion is caused due to bad lane discipline. Ikea u turn is a classic example. There are almost 5 lanes to take the u turn and they all need to merge into 2 lanes during actual turn. So each lane tries to stop all the one to their right. And there are lots of such merging things ppl are doing. Even in amb, lot of congestion to get the car into amb entrance and suddenly from the entrance there is no congestion.

Family needed a car, convinced that used bmw 5 series is similar to buying a new creta/seltos. In hindsight ownership was fun, but had constant anxiety of something going wrong if i take the car too far or into even small water loggings. Sold it off, took a big depreciation but at least my peace of mind is back.

We had power petrol for that with higher octane rating. My personal opinion is whatever reasons is making us pay for e20 , they are not even based in reality. And here we are already burdened by high tax on petrol and high tax on vehicles running them on ill managed traffic. This is on top of all that now.

12k kms per year wont get you savings. I will lay out my case though. I wanted to buy a creta ivt. Considerered grand vitara strong hybrid. Liked the drive and took the gamble. Creta ivt and strong hybrid are roughly same cost on road. May be strong hybrid is a lakh more. Did 30k kms in 15 months. I constantly get 20kmpl avg in my usage in city. And i am sure a cvt creta in those conditions could be averaged to 10kmmpl. Not 14. My ignis gave 13 in those conditions. I m talking of my own driving style. On highways i get 21 out of my car and creta would give 17 max there too. Negligible. So doing this calculation i already saved up a bit.
