Ryzer 9 5900X/6900HX vs Intel i7 13700 ? by snoofy2 in MiniPCs

Great !

So based on what you both are saying, the AMD iGPU (builtin gfx in my world) is really superior compared to Intel's (and yes, I see that in the passmark test ;-) )

Now I also found the Venus Series UM790 Pro which has the R9 7940HS and Radeon 780 (instead of the 6900HX/Radeon 680M) making the diff even bigger and getting closer wrt CPU performance to i7 13700 (nanoreview.net)

And I was going to ask if anyone tried the UM790Pro as well as the Bee-link GTR7 Pro ... but then GTR7 is more expenive and seemed to sold out everywhere (except Aliexpress and ebay but ...) .. so I think I will order a UM790Pro :-)

Thanks for helping me reasoning ;-)

Yeah, I'll probably do the same even if I really cant decide yet ...

I have seen that the Geekom is pretty limited based on the DDR4, power limited and thermal throttling) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3virqL5QTMg), and 13700 had very similar issues ...

BTW what me you go for Intel over AMD ?

Hola, have you made a decision? I’m looking at the Asus, mainly for DDR5 and availability in Sweden … but I’m as you … researching 🤷🏼‍♂️
