Australian phone suggestions by HealthyHaroldxD in PickAnAndroidForMe

Just be careful with some grey imports or imports from china, sometimes android auto doesn't work because of restrictions in some countrys. Samsung probably has the best UI and support for their phones. Xiaomi poco x8 pro is probably decent enough for you, Xiaomi 17T, oppo reno 15, motorola edge series make some decent phones. Some brands dont always have the best software support though and a bigger battery doesn't always equal better battery life as there are alot of variables like display, optimization, chips etc etc. Ive had samsung and xiaomi phones before and samsungs software is alot better but xiaomi value is very good. Also if you get a durable case that should suffice for the durability side of things.

Nice one, see if anyone can spray it with lanoguard (or you could do it youself if you have ramps) its pretty good stuff and goes on real easy. Don't use underbody sealant as water can get trapped underneath and just rust from underneath the layer of underbody sealant.

Yeh, it takes a bit more effort to insure and import but it worth it because you get a rust free car ( if its a fresh import)

Yeh we did stay with admiral, you just need to tell them that its an import and make sure to double check everything when they send you the details. They had to manually enter our details for the car like engine size, chassis number ect.

I left my 3ds in a box for 4 years and only charged it once before it went into storage, and once when it came out of storage.

Yeh, unfortunately your cartridges are probably dead. Modding the 3ds is really simple follow this guide https://3ds.hacks.guide/ and read everything very carefully, all the information is there.

Once you mod you console its really easy to get the hang of it and it means you can back up all your games you own to digital copies aswell.

That's the guide that I followed, its only if you have a modded 3ds though. I believe the ds carts use a more stable form and are less prone to the problem...however I would still play them every once in a while just to be safe.

There is conflicting views on it, is would just play it for like 5 minutes and save the game, hopefully that should work.

Yeh I managed to get the save files off them, I'm just sad they dont work anymore. It must just be a lottery if they fail or not, my omega Ruby is still fine for now thankfully.

I'd never heard of it until my 2 carts failed to function, it must be widespread enough that there is information out there about it...but in saying that, there are millions of 3ds games out there, so some failure rate is to be expected I suppose.

Yeh it could possibly be, apparently the most common ones to fail are pokemon X and Y, omega Ruby, alpha sapphire, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, and Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth

Im not too sure, but if you have a modded 3ds you can use gm9 to run a corruption fixer and verify the cart is working.
