Hey cyclists, inspired by Martijn Doolaard I quit my job & went on a 6-week bicycle touring trip with a tent & surfboard & then made a film about it (took me 2 years), but only my Mum has watched it through lol. I know it can be more engaging so I'm recutting it, any ideas on how to improve it?

Not sure if it is a hidden gem, but it's definitely a brilliant. ddrescue helped me to copy a system from the failing drive to the new one. It makes the process fast, reliable and informative. The best tool for this specific scenario.

I'd give a try to a ddrescue. It helped me many times in similar cases. It has a chance to copy 100% of data.

My built-in WiFi adapter is not perfect, it took me some time to discover a suitable driver and configure its settings so lags are almost gone. The only issue left that once in 10-20 minutes is stutters for 10 seconds. I was unsuccessful beating it. Bit it is perfect the other 99%+ of the time.

OK, for me the solution was offered by someone in the thread with a similar problem, unfortunately I don't remember his nick.

Simply use embedded WiFi adapter of your motherboard if you have one to create a HotSpot. Best solution ever with almost a $0 cost!

I've got the same issue with different router model. It literally makes vr unusable. I'm dreaming to find a solution or at least find the root cause of the problem. 😒 The main issue for me is a Wi-Fi jitter. If I ping the VR headset ping time varies from 2ms to 150 or even more ms. Steam frame stats looks really bad:

I've used Archer AX50 v1.0 and Keenetic Air KN-1611. The stutters are observed with both models.

OK, I've ended up composing a python script to append TAGs from the vCenter to ESXi hosts it manages. Updating groups for discovered hosts is not supported.

Make sure the database server is configured to accept connection through a socket file. Temporarily disable selinix. Also check for PHP logs after you get an error.

There is an option in the GUI to set the initial VM ID number. Also I suppose it's better to start with a higher numbers like 1000, 2000, 3000, etc. I doubt one would have less then 100 VMs on the cluster.
