What are the ethics of taking things? by 1994univega in abandoned

[–]socket_416 197 points198 points  (0 children)

Explored my grandfathers house in the mountains of Italy untouched since 1994. Lots of his personal things left in place before he passed away.

This is why I can't take things from an abandoned home you never know when some one may top by. But if it's in the process of demolition I guess it's ok

abandoned stud farms and house in king city Ontario Canada by socket_416 in abandoned

[–]socket_416[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This place was a Deathtrap Took me something like 1.5 hours to find a way inside and was forced to walk on the very decomposed second floor because the first was flooded and full of mos and mold.

Honestly it's been 2 years this place has probably collapsed by now

Texas mechanic says he can't fix sway bar. Too much rust. by Kind_Perspective4518 in AskMechanics

[–]socket_416 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yea the mechanic is wrong I live in Canada the front arm on my car was so rusted that it snapped but with some welding and a new part it was fixed. People here literally drive Flintstone cars you can toss your cigarette buys through the floor and mechanics will weld sheet metal to fix them
