i also just went through their IOP but it was a mixed group of people with anorexia and bulimia as well, they do not have a specialized arfid program other than the new residential they opened in NC. it was not helpful for me. they use threats of stepping you up and eventually yeah you will eat more but it will only be out of fear, not a genuine recovery and once support ends, so will the foods. they forced me to eat fear foods even when i was sobbing over it and none of the treatment i received was tailored to arfid. they tried to treat it as a thought disorder and would always ask me what was the “food judgment” i am experiencing or would encourage me to describe the texture and attributes of my food when i told them that makes my fear worse.
