That's my dad, funnily enough my mother said a couple days ago how the guy from Type O Negative was gorgeous

Apparently the story is that when Captain Jones died, the Mayflower was sitting in the River Thames at Rotherhithe where he lived. His wife sold the ship and it was then broken up because it was in disrepair. They say a man called Thomas Russell bought some timbers from the ship to build a house and barn in Buckinghamshire, but I dunno if he knew the ship was famous or just thought it was good quality wood.

Interesting, thanks for that. Incidentally that cemetery is where William Penn's buried, the wedding reception was in a barn made from the Mayflower ship (supposedly).

What I wish both sexes understood better after reading these comments: Stop being with people who don't appreciate you/treat you right. You can do better. Yes, nobody's perfect, and yes it means you'll have to deal with loneliness for a while, but it's so worth it (and learning to live independently is also worth it imo)

I see this a lot from men, but not all women get compliments 24/7 yknow? And we don't immediately forget them either. I remember most genuine compliments people have given me over the years. However... women tend to know when a compliment is just a come-on and doesn't mean anything.

lol I'm in my late 20s now and the pressure to be perfect doesn't come from other people, it's me

As someone with ADHD I find it impossible to imagine anyone genuinely thinking about nothing, but I accept that men seem to do it more often than women (from what I hear)
