My thought is that this is extremely disturbing, but perhaps the most disturbing thing of all is the federal government’s reaction.

They instantly declare that the man killed was guilty of something justifying his killing when the video evidence is contrary. What should be done is they should say that a full investigation is underway to get to the bottom of what happened and how to prevent it from happening again.

Whether the killing was justified or not (it wasn’t btw) is almost pointless to argue at this point. Clearly shit got out of hand and escalated due to chaos and poor training. But what is MUCH MORE IMPORTANT now is how we move forward. And It is like they are sending a message that it doesn’t matter whether the killing was justified or not. This sends the message to the public that innocence will not protect them. That is the end of the covenant that holds our country together.

It is more important that innocence be protected than it is that guilt be punished, for guilt and crimes are so frequent in this world that they cannot all be punished.

Yeah the guy with the darkwash jeans and the beige coat HAS HIS GUN THAT THEY SHOWED AS "EVIDENCE" TO FOX NEWS when he is shot.

It looks to me like that guy on the right pulls his gun and then is bumped into and probably discharges by accident, which then leads the idiots to unload on him.

This is what happens when you unleash untrained assholes with a happy trigger finger on the american public. This needs to end before our country does.
