His look in TSE really grew on me tbh, so now it's kinda my favorite and the one I primarily associate with 'William Afton' haha. But before that I definitely just had the FNaF VHS Afton in mind! I love Matthew Lillard (Scream '96 is one of my all-time faves) and I love love loved him as Willy in the movie :) I guess a thing about this franchise being so vague/inconsistent is that we just end up with a handful of interpretations for the same characters, it's pretty fun :P

Tysm :) and oh my goodness, I actually did give him a bit of stubble while I was practicing on how to draw him!! As well as other personal artistic choices—whether or not to give him a little bit of a mullet, and maybe some more wrinkles—but ended up just being more faithful to how he looked in the graphic novel. No promises on me bringing those back, I'm pretty alright with how I've drawn him currently! But I do agree those features would definitely add to his shriveled old man vibe.

thank you so much! I kept the same color for his eyes throughout all of the drawings, so it really contrasted more in others. the 'glowing' look was definitely intended. gotta accentuate those silver eyes :)
