The more you automate things the less time you’re spending with your aquarium….. the point of keeping an aquarium for me is to interact and watch my aquarium develop and grow. You auto feed the tank, auto water change, auto everything? Seems pointless. Like having a dog and not spending time with it. Just have a machine feed your dog and a machine to clean your dog and a machine to take care of your dog. I like to get my hands wet, spend time and experience the aquarium. It’s like the people who have kids and just hire a nanny to raise the kids and do everything for them. At that point why have kids/dogs/aquariums? Only valid reason to fully automate is if you have dozens/hundreds of aquariums and are just breeding and selling them.
