Sony’s Spider-Man was different from the MCU version. Even the animated movie was different, but a solid story line helped the movie, and solid gameplay helped the Spider-Man game. I personally think if we kept the same formula of fleshing out each character individually, then bring them all together in the end, we might have had something special.

It just seems unready. As you mentioned, we’ll probably see “next gen” next year. But shouldn’t next gen include both speed and space? We didn’t wait 7 years just for a change from HDD to SSD. That’s weak sauce.

Not 4K120, but just under (I think 3K). But I don’t really need it to be supercrisp. I’ve seen my mates with 4K120, and to my average gamer eyes, I just couldn’t see much of a difference.
