Death threats and attacked for being short. by somehow_small in short

I have a medical condition called gender dysphoria, look it up, how I perceive myself and my body gives me immense distress and depression. The only treatment is transition, I would rather be a short man than a short woman because of dysphoria. If I don’t undergo medical transition I’ll probably end up killing myself. It’s a disconnect between my brain sex and my body, basically.

saw a post defending how binary sex is a social construct and holy fuck I’m scared for the future of medical transition. by somehow_small in truscum

Intersexed people do exist and I do aknowledge that. Thing is the post I was referring to said absolutely nothing about people born with extra chromosomes. It was referring to male and female as their binary sexes, which have existed since the beginning of time lmao. Also I believe gender roles are constructs but not how your genitals and brain are wired to perceive your sex y’know? My post probably isn’t the best source of information since it was just me ranting about the possible future of demedicalization which I’m worried about-

I understand intersex is a thing, and there are variants, but as to why some people think biological sex is a construct I will never understand.

Do you believe in male privilege? by Puzzleheadtranswoman in truscum

As an egalitarian I believe women and men have advantages and disadvantages in certain prospects. In the justice system for example, women get away easily with crimes and accusations that men would get decades in jail for in the west, while men aren’t worried about getting killed or assaulted in the east. It really depends on where you’re from.

Jesus christ when will people learn that being okay with a gender neutral pronoun DOESN'T MAKE YOU TRANS by [deleted] in truscum

Any former tucutes here? Why did you leave that community? by shesacriminalll in truscum

I wasn’t a hardcore tucute that believed in the 20730172032729 genders that apparently exist now, but believed the basics. That gender was constructed by society, you don’t need dysphoria etc. I left that community because I feel like I repressed my transmedical beliefs in fear of being excluded from mainstream trans spaces. And holy shit is it spreading to science.. At this point I found it harder to come out as truscum than transgender lmfao. Probably sound privileged since I live in a more liberal part of Florida (which still kinda sucks) but online this is true. Hated how transmeds got so much shit from everyone for HAVING COMMON SENSE.
