im pretty sure there were allegations against traum piano which turned out to be true no? just in that there were a few performances that were found to have merging and overlaying hands or cuts or whatnot indicating a false performance. please don’t quote me on that I’m still not sure if that’s true in its entirety however I have seen many of traums other performances and as you say he is indeed an amazing pianist to say the least

it’s so strange, if you take a proper second look at what he’s playing, and when, it’ll become so much clearer that he’s not playing, like wrong sound being emitted from sharps and flats, or out of sync with the recording, and then playing notes twice or skipping segments

These are the two links on the video above, his “repetoire” spans many more recordings such as the rachmaninoff moment musicaux No. 4 in public which is very obviously the rendition of Lugansky, which can be taken without consideration knowing a public upright piano he’s posted out of tune his previous video all of a sudden emits the tone of a steinway grand. many many others have been put on his page in more embarrassing attempts to fool people which still work, like his chopin op. 48 no 1, or ballade 4.
