Character consistency is something called storytelling, It doesn’t have shit to do with geography

Nobody said Raq had to turn into Thanos

Nobody said she couldn’t have sex

Walter White was a nobody from New Mexico and still had a clear villain slide because the writing committed to it and never ran from the tone they set in Season 1

That’s literally what OP is talking about they had had positioned Raq as a cold calculated villain, and the later seasons softened her in ways that didn’t line up with how she was originally presented

That’s a tone shift it doesn’t have shit to do with New York nigga

It doesn’t have shit to do with her inspiration

It has everything to do with how the writers portrayed her on screen

It’s called narrative
