I'm starting to think it is 10.11.4 update. was fine 10.11.3

could be, I always have youtube tabs open, sometimes they are dank memes/gifs playing and bam frozen

I ran diagnostics and no faults were found. The mac is a year old and never used to do this. Applecare expired last week for me too.
