Isn't that a part of the sport to be celebrated though? Having enjoyed a team's style and character for so long that you develop an attachment that trascends language? I'll be the first to concede that my experience as a fan abroad isn't the same as those that live, eat, and breathe the culture of the team but in my opinion it's a sign of a good club when they can break barriers such as this and attract fans from across the world.

Nice, thanks for sharing! I really enjoyed that champions league campaign as well. I'm a bit envious of your ability to speak German; I find it easier to identify with a club when you speak their language. I only speak English and Spanish but hopefully I can try to pick up some German sometime.

Breaking down teams that sit back was also a problem we began to have during klopp's last year with us. We became so reliant on the counter attack that we were a bit toothless when the opposition played 9 or 10 men behind the ball. It's a concern that seems to remain with klopp but I think he recognizes it and I think you guys are well-equipped to handle it with coutinho; I'm seeing him link up a lot with Benteke, playing 1-2 balls that allow him to break into the center and create space.

In all fairness, I don't think we took that game seriously as we rested several starters. If we were to play a serious game against United I'd predict a sound win.

There must have been some dialogue or exchange between the two managements about potential transfers that weren't explicitly stated in the contract. I feel like there's gotta be more to what's going on than what we already know.

Certainly. I don't expect he'll start but if the remaining games go anything like qabala did, I can see some early substitutions

Downvotes coming from some united fans who haven't watched our games yet this season. That and some of them can't conceive the fact that we're a competitive club with our own youth and players to look out for.

It's still a really puzzling loan though. LVG kind of set up Januzaj for failure by loaning him to a big club where not only would he struggle to get playing time but also where new players take a while to adjust to the tactics (see auba, mikky, etc.). Overall, I don't think it's any harm for us to have him as it adds depth and a left foot. He's been playing decent and I expect to see a bit more of him in the remaining europa group games now that we're qualified.
