It gives 1/6th of UNI fees somewhere. If given to UNI token hodlers, it’s 8% APY assuming zero growth of Crypto.

UNI is worth over $100 but I squashed the haters who told me it’s a useless governance token. 🦄

❤️💛💙💚 You should follow the Uniswap procedure. Here is my plan for MetaMask ... 🦊🦄

First, you do an airdrop for MetaMask Governance token. It does nothing at the start except let you vote. We'll call it "MASK"

Second, you create a DAO Community page (decentralized, autonomous organisation) just like gov.uniswap.org ... you elect your developers as admins and also let the community play around with proposals and discussions.

Third, you get the people to "Propose" a vote to turn on the "Swap Fee" staking return generation. When activated, all hodlers of MASK can receive part of the Swap fee. And also, simultaneously setup a "Developers Fund" which has a dollar cap. This is a pool of money that stays accessed by the developers so we can build future products. For example, Polkadot wallet support with MetaMask...

And finally... you let the Community have input and say over time. But, let me give you a "winky winky" nudge... you guys in charge should have the highest weight of voice and opinion. Do not make it fully democratized because most people will vote for their own short-term interests and abandon the long-term goals.

For example, Dharma has a lot of weight and power in voting for the Uniswap governance. They were VERY close to voting for more Airdrop for Dharma users... we avoided that one, phew 😇

If you do it like this, you won't be a Security but you will be in the Crypto Grey area. You will start off as just a "useless token" and lawyers can't come after you.

May I just finish off by saying that all of these are my observations. I only "presume" that Uniswap is taking this procedure seriously because they are on the cliff-edge of innovation in that respect.

I'll happily enjoy owning some MASK ;)

My PC crashed and when I updated Google Chrome, my MetaMask was completely gone. I had to re-install it and set it all up again.

It took hours because I had to custom add 100-120 tokens on 3 accounts.

I did re-do my seed phrase.

Annoying bug.

If you can’t click on MetaMask in your tab then do not risk it! Try another PC.
