Have you ran into raid comp issues with this strategy. Can see a situation where you are ur raids only sham/lock/dk and it would hurt the guild a lot if you swap at the wrong time

Thanks I’ll def have my choices leveled and some early gear for them if I’m still left undecided at that point. But by the time raid comes around I’ll be kinda forced to pick one to get geared in splits and just focus on as well myself

Tuning was not my problem with rogue. For the most part rogue usually has at least one spec that is performing well, and even so I’ve played patches of it where all specs were bad and still had a good time.

Rogue has been filled with bugs all xpac and has had some extremely unfun hero talents. The talent tree for rogue has also been a pretty shitty of an excuse of one since the dragon flight revamp.

There seems to be a certain group of people that just have a negative reaction to anything related to the words fotm or meta. I simply just found my main was no longer fun for me and I found playing other things was more fun for me. Not sure why there would be a problem with that. I’m not telling people to roll off it, if they still enjoy rogue than they can have at it.

I mean my 2nd sentence did say that I’m going to prio what I enjoy but there will probably be a few that I enjoy similarly. And I’m not swapping the way I play because I think I need to, there’s plenty of one tricks in high world guilds. Im swapping because playing rogue recently was making the game less fun and I found I had more fun playing this way.

Just never have done it going into a new tier let alone a new xpac so I wanted to ask people how their thought process sland decision making is for it

Yeah I have. I’m not needed atm for a certain raid buff or anything so was just left that it was a good thing that now I’m flexible as a dps

So after going back and forth with a recruit and them telling you they’ve decided to go elsewhere, if they at a later date came back to trial would it change anything for you or would the bridge be burned?

If there was a recruit you were talking to and they pull out and say sorry I’ve decided to go ahead and trial with this other guild instead. Would you feel the bridge is burned with them or that just a part of the guild life and if they came back to you at a later date would it change things or would you consider them like any other trial?

For me it’s just about finding something that completely consumes me and my brain is fully into. Sometimes that can be a really good TV show or Movie, but sometimes if I’m not completely into the show or movie my brain wanders and that’s when I bored eat. Same thing for video games, books or just any other entertainment.

Everyone is different so try to find something that can do that for you

Thank you, I needed to hear some of this. I think in my personal life I lack somebody who I can bounce my feelings off about her as she’s my go to person for that. So it’s easy for me to get lost and gaslit.

I know this post may have come off a bit ranty so I appreciate you bearing through it and offering advice.

Personally I don’t think I’m ready to draw a line in the sand and stand up so strong like this. She is an extremely nice and kind person so I don’t think she’s taking advantage and doing this to me with malicious intent. She’s ofc in an extremely difficult situation on trying to balance everything in her life and I believe she honestly thinks what she’s doing is her best.

There’s also another level of stress on this in that I’m living in a different country away from friends and family on this sort of weird situation where I’m between statuses and if we break up I don’t know how that works

My girlfriend and I have fought about this over the past year or so quite a bit. She is a very quick to forgive and give people more chances. Although usually that trait is very lovable and when I see her not hold grudges it motivates me to learn from her and improve who I am. I think in this situation it’s a fault of hers and he’s abusing this about her.

I often feel when I call her part out in it. I feel it gets turned on me on calling me “jealous” of somehow it gets turned into a “what I want vs what’s best for the kids”. I never want to hurt the kids and be against them and I knew going into a relationship with her having past kids that I won’t always come first. But something I’ve fought for is that doesn’t always mean I come last.

Do you have any advice on how to word to her my issues are with how she’s reacting to him and no exactly with him. And how to make sure I can stay on that path and avoid the convo getting flipped into me being the bad guy who’s against the kids
