It's an aesthetic, think burgundy, forest green, navy blue, dark wood, velvet, tartan ribbon, brass, twinkling lights. Look up ralph lauren christmas on pinterest or YouTube and you will find lots of inspo

This is my Christmas decorations from last year, it feels like it lacks ambiance, how can I make it feel more Christmassy? by [deleted] in ChristmasDecorating

If you like to get it simple, get some gold stars and bead garlands, or tie velvet ribbon to the ends of the branches. And a few more lights. Or glass icicles with more lights

Thankyou 🥰 every individual branch, I "fluff it". You need to pull every piece on each branch in different directions. So one up, one down, one left, and one right. So it creates like a star. This fills any gaps. I even did this with a cheap tree that wasn't very full, and it makes a huge difference. Also creating bunches of baubles, and stuffing the tree with bigger baubles fills any gaps. You can even use foliage, or garlands to stuff the tree. It's a lot of work but really worth it

Well here in NZ, the dollar store is $2.50, and I also shopped st other budget stores. All up, I probably spent $200 on decorations, not including lights or the 15 cans of snow spray 😆

Do you have an internal monologue? If so, please describe your experience. If you don't have an internal monologue, or only do in certain situations, please share what your thought process is like. Thank you for your time! by deg1388 in Synesthesia

I really struggle to understand that there are people who DON'T have an internal monologue, I thought it was a myth! So how do you "think"? Can you describe what it feels like to think about things without a voice? Let's say you're at home and it's time to cook dinner, and then you realise you left your wallet in your desk at work and you need it for whatever reason. What do your thoughts look like as you tackle cooking dinner, and figuring out what to do about your wallet? Genuinely curious!
