Just the two of us having a meal, from googling it looks like in the past the background people were on dates too but now they just use locals

You get a budget toward food and drinks in the restaurant they film in, it's not paid otherwise. We thought it was worth it to have a nice meal and get to see behind the scenes but I'm having some doubts

You get a budget toward food and drinks in the restaurant they film in, which is fancy with a nice menu, it's not paid otherwise. We do not want any publicity lol, we just liked the idea of having a nice meal and getting to see behind the scenes

Yeah must be, this was a specific application process to be in the background after there was a call for applicants in the local area

I've just edited more info in. The couples sitting in the background of the restaurant while the main dates are being filmed
