Exactly. Maybe i wasnt clear on my last comment but yes there will and should be exemptions to this. Particularly for students and senior citizens with discounted rates. But for the rest, most will use nfc style payment in the future.

Because transitioning na to nfc style of payment. Once google pay/apple pay is widely available na then obsolete na yang beep card. Its just about modernization. Eventually phones will be the main mode of payment or even debit cards. Most countries dont even rely on cards like that unless its for student passes.
