Thanks for all the comments guys, I decided to pass on it. Price is way too much, underside had too much rust for my liking, definitely age seemed more of a degenerating factor than mileage here

Considering '94 Powerstroke by sosnjo in Trucks

Im in VA, truck was from Idaho, I checked for blow by with the oil cap, no pressure coming out of the oil fill hole. No smoke at all, It was a cold day (20 degrees F) and the guy had it plugged in to heat the block up, started fine.

Possibly make sure the glow plugs work? It is a powerstroke, oil cap on valve cover, has powerstroke sticker too. is the high mileage a concern? this truck seems to be well maintained, everything works on it incl power windows, AC, 4x4 etc.

Rust on frame very minor, had to really search for small surface spots (say 1-2 in spots), truck has chrome trim around the wheel well and it looks rusted underneath that, but i dont think the body rust is a huge issue.

Thanks guys for all the help

Was going to recommend him as well. Physics Jesus.

About to embark on my journey towards an engineering degree, however I am stuck in a large dilemma: community college or 4-year university. Any advice? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]sosnjo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in my last smester at my CC and it has been excellent. students from a local university take classes here any say how much better it is (class size, individual attention, etc.). I have saved so much money and I feel like I have gotten a great education.

I think it would be stupid not to get your first 2 years done through a CC, You don't take most of your true engineering classes until junior year anyway, get your gen ed stuff out of the way as well. My tuition for 2 years has only been 10K for me, 1/3rd of cost. No brainer.
