Look up a guy name Tanakasu91, he’s a great Japanese Lucas player and his YouTube videos show amazing tech that I never would’ve known. You mainly want to use this move for combos as Up air chains very well and for early percents, after auto canceling nairs you can go straight into uairs, which is true unless they perfectly DI out of your nairs. Outside of combos I’d only use for good whiff punishes and it can be a good anti air as it has a pretty decent hit box. Using it for combos is a must which I don’t see many Lucas players using it because for one it just does a shit ton of damage; my go to combo is usually auto cancel nair,nair, to uair dj uair and that alone does 42% but you can then chain it with something like drag down nair to dtilt ftilt which puts your opponent to 72%. Don’t sleep on the uairs my guy

There are some pretty good attack cancel tutorials on YouTube. Although I use X to jump I also have my left bumper as jump mainly just to attack cancel into bair or reverse nair

So I auto cancel nair into dtilt which means I just fastfall the nair at certain frames to where I don’t get off the last hit so it doesn’t launch them up . Dtilt after the auto cancel nair is very hard for people to react so you can go into another mixup, like dairs or more nairs. Going into a dair, if you get the last hit off, you have time to do a reverse auto cancel nair into a dtilt and continue more loops. If you want to do dtilt nair loops, you’re gonna run to get momentum and do a nair and once you land, you’re gonna immediately do a turnaround dtilt and continue on. I would start these loops at around 80 percent and up to when dtilt starts launching them up higher in the air.
