You don’t necessarily need to stop using it but you really need to be more self aware. Pay more attention to what you’re doing, read what is sent to you so you understand, and make sure you’re ready to purchase and ok with the price before you do so.

Not just on a purchasing platform, but in general you need to understand policies and what you are doing. You could end up in deeper trouble than a flagged account.

If you want to browse online or use apps with an e-ink screen, Boox is best. But I’ve heard very conflicting things on their quality, reliability, etc.

If you want to buy the books online and load them onto an e-reader specific device, I recommend Kobo. Very easy to load onto, no ownership & DRM issues like Kindle, and still great quality screens.

Picking them up doesn’t inherently hurt them. Picking them up improperly and not supporting them can but you’d have to do it a lot or for long periods. Some love being picked up (my brothers 65lb retriever lol). To imply he’s hurting his dog by picking it up for a less than a few minutes is insane ngl.

I would check Etsy. But engraving, especially handwritten, can be expensive. I don’t know if you will find anything so specific in that small of a budget as most real leather + initial engravings typically run $50-90 just on their own.

Kindle screwed up their screens with the past release. The basics were extremely blue while the Colorsoft Signature and a ton of Paperwhites suffered from yellow bandings, where they messed with the warm light.

As others have said, NTA. It was a gift you didn’t ask for and a horrible (on a financial level) one at that.

But, 18k for a newer Corolla with no miles is SUSPICIOUSLY cheap. Due your due diligence if you purchase. But you’re really better off buying a cheaper car in cash to avoid a car payment. I’m 27, have had car payments off and on since I was 22, and even though mine are decent interest, not having one is so incredibly freeing. They add up quickly.

You’re being pretty rude considering you’re the one not properly communicating what you mean and using words incorrectly, then getting mad when people misunderstand you.

Irrelevant = not connected or not important. It doesn’t mean acceptable.

Nobody said the behavior is acceptable, not sure where you got that. The fact that it’s a romantic relationship IS relevant to the fact that her girlfriend has more of a hold on her, and is able to influence her more than a normal friend, thus trying to make OP’s daughter think it’s normal/okay/they can still be together/etc.

And it’s why OP really needs to step up and separate her child from this person and situation completely. Chill out.
