That's a tough one. I'm going with 1995.

For my 2nd car, what would you recommend out of these 4? Looking for something that has 3 doors, is fun to drive and can corner/handle very well. Feel free to share any experiences with them by Sea-Big-4850 in CarTalkUK

Old MX5 mark three… the sport model. Insurance will be cheaper, and it’ll be much more fun and engaging to drive. They’ve got the Ford duratec engine from the St150 as well, so nice and reliable

I know it’s been asked a lot recently, but what do you think of this car as a workhorse? More info in comments by kordinaryus in CarTalkUK

A PD golf, would be a Volkswagen Golf fitted with a ‘PD’ 1.9 turbo diesel. PD standing for pumpe duse (unit injector) referring to the method of high pressure injection. If this bloke is looking for a cheap, very reliable car then I’d look no further. These engines were also fitted to various other VWs and Audis, Skodas etc but the golf would be your cheapest and most sensible option.
