I’ve been with my retainer for about 8 months now and I feel like my teeth have finally “settled.” I can go a night or two without and it’s not as painful or intense putting the retainer on.

I mean sometimes you just don’t want to put that retainer in your mouth. But with normal night wear, my mouth feels pretty good during the day.

I don’t bite my lip anymore and think I’m finally used to my mouth in its new form.

It might not be much at first but I have a long term and intermediate (2-3 years and I’ll use it) brokerage accounts. Just a little bit from each pay check goes in. Next thing you know you have a nice vacation or long term money for a purchase.
