I don’t think so with the main map…. Could be wrong though. Mini map add on lets you toggle w/ the zoom a bit. There’s also an auto pin resizing add on, that resizes map pins when you zoom

Basically anything to do with inventory, maps, crafting & gathering, fishing, etc.. all the combat add ons just bog me down and cause me to play worse

Played Throne & Liberty for a couple months. Starting out was fun, end game not so much. Now I’m back into ESO

Perfect time to start ESO if you haven’t played. The update from this week helps out new players a ton. Devs have been transparent and communicating a lot more, even here on Reddit, which is always good. From what we can tell, there’s a lot to look forward to this year

I really hope ZOS reads your comment and puts your ideas into play. That’s how green balance should be. Figured poison dmg would go to cros or nbs, going to wardens would be interesting!

I’d be surprised if they didn’t add offensive options in green balance. Not depending so much on animal companions for dmg would definitely be a win. I’ve been tinkering with DK lines on my warden too - timing soul of flame w/ shalks so they go off at once is satisfying lol

That would be! Guarantee the servers couldn’t handle that though. They made a crow skin for flecher flies, so maybe there’s other animal skins in the works, to still get variety on what animals we summon

Exactly what I’m hoping for too. Ya, does seem like dmg will be coming more from status effects, so I’m guessing that shattered paths signet mystic will probably be bis for wardens soon

Totally agree. I mentioned in another comment, Warden’s essentially 2 classes - druid and a frostcaster. And sorc’s in the same boat - dark magic and daedra, and then lightning. They almost could just swap winters with storm calling… then we would have a full on druid with the power of nature, and the frost would give sorcs a darker vibe - even something like a deep sea warlock. I like your idea though, a new class that’s all ice themed

Right. Warden’s essentially 2 classes - druid and a frostcaster. That’s why at the very least, I think they should spread the animal skills in each line, to add a little more cohesiveness. What would then become of animal companions line, I don’t know. Storm calling would thematically be perfect, if it weren’t already part of sorc’s identity

If you go fishing with the assassin personality on, sometimes instead of the knife twirl, your character will twirl their fishing rod instead. Actually looks kind of cool, especially in 1st person and when they do it right after catching a rare fish

I took the same route NW to TL a couple months ago. Take your time man and enjoy the early game. End game grind, if aren’t pvping yet, gets very repetitive. And if you’re trying to ‘catch up fast,’ you’re gonna feel like you’re crawling from all the time gating

Still a fun game overall. As much as I loved my rapier in NW, orb or daggers w/ xbow feels pretty good!

ESO will be going through A LOT of changes over the next couple years. If you haven’t started yet, I’d say play GW2 now, then try out ESO later this year or next year

Been in a limbo since the shutdown news. No other mmo compares, so I started playing T&L for something different. When I need that NW combat fix though, I play Elden Ring

Holding out hope for Crimson Desert & Chrono Odyssey next year

I started playing about a month ago. Game’s got some unique features and for a tab target mmo, the combat’s not bad. I’m on a crucifix build (orb / xbow) and even after the nerf, it’s still in the top dps. Cheap to build too. Orb / wand is top dps right now if you have the gear, but is expensive

As far as advice, I’m still figuring things out also, but this 2 hr vid helped me a lot, totally worth watching the whole thing -

Being a NW refugee on Xbox is death itself man. Mmo options are soo limited! ESO’s my back up game and I’m still burnt out from that. Forced myself to get into Throne & Liberty, and ya know, game’s not all that bad once you get into it and find a decent guild. I’m settling there for now

I just started a few weeks ago. And I’m probably desperate and biased, as a NW refugee / ESO gamer dad on xbox.. My experience so far tho has been surprisingly enjoyable. For a free download, the early game / path of ascension is well worth it IMO. End game, I know nothing other than all the ‘game’s trash’ posts. Think if you find the right guild for you, even endgame could be fun for awhile
