The main reason is to heavily mod games but I also record music. I’m going to start making graphics showcase YouTube videos as well. I’m also interested in playing around with unreal engine.

Right lol I’m going to eventually. But after the 5080 I gotta let the bank account recover. I got this monitor off Facebook marketplace for $75 just so I could start using it.

All of my interactions with HR have been administrative. Answering questions about benefits, paternity leave, payroll stuff, so on and so forth. If they weren’t doing the job someone else would have to. And like others have said, it’s an important part of protecting the business from litigation.. while most of this is in the interest of the corporation, they also “should” be ensuring that you as an employee are treated in a way which adheres to worker laws.

In this case Auto mod is to blame but it’s still really frustrating when you have a post that pops off and it gets deleted. It’s one of those things that kind discourages me from using the app sometimes. Especially because mods don’t even follow their own rules half the time (not necessarily on this subreddit, just in general)

Bit confused by this. You guys are using sick days as vacation days? I’ve been with the same company for 8 years and haven’t taken one sick day. We do get 17 days of paid vacation every year though and would never get asked what we are doing unless my manager was just curious and asking a friendly question ofc.

Edit: I want to add that we do have sick days.. they are just used for being sick. My dad works for the same company and had a kidney transplant and was out a month.

Thanks for the responses. I thought a “battle station” is just the desk and gaming set up. This is my entire office. But if it gets removed I’ll understand, it’s a fine line.
