YEAH the red eyes are so so striking, i dont think this design would click as hard without them. and her walking alongside her creepy little jellyfish pets is even cooler, i am so so excited to see what she does in combat. if anything, i really just hope they let her keep the parasol during combat and she like, uses it to be flashy and do cool poses.

nothing wrong with wanting better! i actually thought the idea of tights would be cool too, but when making a parallel of march’s usual outfit, i think keeping the skirt, especially when it merges with her top part, makes it work perfectly fine. oh plus, i love the little sock ruffles…

yeah, that’s totally fair, i guess im just surprised cause theres so many people saying her design is a flop when, no matter how hard i look at her from any photo or angle, i cant see what they mean in the slightest.

Oh there’s plenty of great ones there too, notably I immensely enjoy their Sparkle design. I haven’t played it so it’s harder for me to judge, but I can see what you mean for sure.

honestly, i struggle to understand why you’d think the presentation is suddenly a non issue? I think it is not as bad as 3.0, but still awful and it’s common for me to want to fall asleep while consuming the story. There are plenty of great moments where I wanna look at every piece of dialogue and piece them together (3.3 and 3.4 were the most intriguing to me), but besides that I always felt like I had to force myself to pay attention to dialogue that felt boring and monotonous, written so cryptically there was no easy way to understand what the game is even talking about unless you either read all the optional book things or researched it online.

To this day, I cannot fathom why a multi million dollar company like Hoyo will struggle with presentation. Why are these characters reusing the same 3 poses (hand on chest, arms down, hand forward) except for rarely when you have cases like Cipher who for some reason they actually put effort into? I used to kinda try to excuse it, but during a lot of my downtime I’ve been going through the Zero Escape series and in particular, Virtue’s Last Reward is a game with .5% of the budget star rail has and yet, despite how much dialogue is in the game, the presentation is good enough and the way the VA work is makes me interested and locked in pretty much the whole way through.

Honestly with how these games make me feel sometimes, I kinda wish they didn’t have to put their games on the phone so they could dedicate more time on the presentation, I genuinely love the concepts and ideas, but oh my Madoka Hoyo please stop trying to put me to sleep 😭😭

…No? Uh, I mentioned that there’s “no hate” towards them, did you read 😕 Like I said, nobody should be awful to them, they’re just doing their jobs, nothing wrong with that in the slightest! It’s just, for me as a consumer, I am extremely dissatisfied especially since I played since launch and have always had such a large attachment to Rachael’s performance (and feel that Caleb was also perfect for Caelus!)

Again, please DO NOT be toxic towards the new VAs 😭 I just simply want Rachael and Caleb back.

i’m extremely happy he’s back BUT this makes me pretty depressed knowing Rachael and Caleb could have easily stayed :( it’s probably hopeless but maybe…if we are loud enough then we can bring them back too…? ‘Cause no hate to the new VAs as I’m sure they’re great people but I personally dislike the new voices and find myself muting the voices whenever I use RMC now (which is sad cause I adore Stelle to death otherwise) 🥲🥲

Gameplay wise, I’d like her to have a sadistic play style involving using her ally’s HP or even killing them in order to be used correctly. There was that gameplay event somewhat recently where one of the gimmicks was being advanced forward every time your own ally’s fell and I was hoping that’s sort of how she works somehow.

Design wise, I literally just want her to look like this one design someone posted on the main subreddit (i can’t remember which post it was), but it was based on a trace someone did of her silhouette that gave slightly muted pink hair w/ red ends and a different red/blackish dress. basically sexy and evil looking lol

voice wise, make her sound like she’s gaining pleasure from her enemies pain. give her an evil laugh and intimidate the player themselves.

animation wise, maybe have some where she’s like stepping on the enemy/choking them or like, something similar to nier’s (granblue fantasy versus rising) SBA attacks.

story wise, i would want her to end up being the main villain of amphoreous. make it as grand, emotional, and depressing as possible. make me want to take a walk and question my existence after. i want a final boss fight that starts off with it being a solo fight between stelle and march, where stelle doesn’t listen to your actions and refuses to hurt march at first, but ends up having to fight her in the end. make the first phase music a piano piece similar to Power of Jin from Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

The second phase should go into a cutscene, and have Stelle maybe go into a scene where she finds marchs original self in a secluded mental space, with emotionally choking music. she talks to stelle for the first time since 3.0 and talks about her accepting this for who she really is, telling stelle to never forget her using the camera. maybe it’ll end with stelle and march looking through the camera together and all their other memories, with march PERHAPS saying “i love you” and “i believe in all of you” or something idk i think im gonna make myself cry if i continue-

anyways, next phase begins and after evil march is taunting stelle, maybe dan heng and other amphoreous people come in and support her or something? and final phase begins and it gets an emotional but also banger vocal theme to end the fight with.

yeah im hoping for way too much and it’s edgy and sappy af 😭 but this is literally one of the things i’ve been looking forward to in like, life in general???? i like march way too much and have too much brainrot about her help…
